The corner video store, reimagined.
Little Blockbuster is a weatherproof cabinet filled with movies anyone can borrow—part Little Free Library, part neighborhood video store, and entirely built around trust.
Pick something that looks good. Bring it back later, pass it to a friend, or keep it. Add a movie of your own if you have one to share. There is no account and no checkout counter.
The collection will begin at about 50 movies, with DVDs, Blu-rays, and the occasional VHS surprise. Optional QR codes may eventually let a disc collect stories as it travels, but the box will always work without a phone, power, or a website.

Contact Little BlockbusterIs it really free?
Yes. There are no rental fees, due dates, memberships, or late charges.
Do I have to return a movie?
No. Return it when you are done, pass it along, or keep it. The goal is to keep movies moving and being enjoyed.
Do I need to scan anything?
No. Some movies may have a QR code for optional history or notes, but scanning is never required to take or return one.
Can I add movies?
Absolutely. Bring a DVD, Blu-ray, or VHS tape you think someone else might enjoy. Please leave it in a usable case; if the cabinet is full, try another day.
What if the website is unavailable?
The cabinet still works exactly the same. Open the door, choose a movie, and enjoy it—the website is an extra, not a checkout system.
